Employee Benefits

Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital’s benefits package offers employees numerous resources to help them reach financial and professional goals. Benefit eligibility is open to both full-time (32 hours per week) and part-time (24 hours per week) employees. As an employee, your benefits may include, but are not limited to:

Paid Time Off

Vacation/holidays, and sick leave begin accruing upon hire based on hours worked. Personal time off of 16 hours for part-time employees and 24 hours for full-time employees are available upon hire and annually thereafter.

Group Health Insurance

Health insurance is provided by Montana Health Network and administered by Pacific Source. Employees can choose from four different coverage options and two different plans. Premiums for the Economy Employee-Only policy are paid 100% by employer. Other plan premiums are paid 65% by employer.

Supplemental Group Dental and Vision Insurance

Dental and vision coverage is offered to benefit-eligible employees and their dependents at group rates.

Retirement Plan

All employees 18 years of age except casual status EMT’s are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. After 6-months of service and at least 800 worked hours FMDH will match contributions up to 5% of wages. These matching contributions become fully vested over a 4-year schedule.

Employees have the benefit of discussing the 401(k) program with a financial advisor, free of charge. The advisor comes to FMDH once a year and is also available by phone or at his office.

Group Term Life Insurance

All employees are covered by $50,000 Life and AD&D insurance. Additional coverage is available at group rates.
