Dear Sir,

My father and I would like to make it well known to the Chamber of Commerce of Glasgow that the hospitality and services offered to us by many of your citizens was excellent and we are very grateful for their help on our recent visit to your city.

On Friday, July 15 th we landed at the Glasgow Airport to stay overnight on our vacation trip. It was very nice that the airport has two courtesy cars. We utilized one of them. Your young airport fuel attendant was very helpful.

On Friday morning we discovered that we had forgotten to pack some medications that we truly needed. In a quick visit to Western Drug, the Pharmacist by the name of Fred was able to place a call to the Madison, WI, Veterans Hospital and botain our replacement medications in short order. He even called us at the Cottonwood Hotel when they were ready to go.

Later that Friday morning, my father became ill from several causes related to travel, dehydration, and medications. We had to utilize your 911 response team. The paramedics were excellent. Clay, and his wife were two paramedic team members names we remembered. Dr. Gordon Bell in the emergency room was very good as well. The nurse by the name of Elaine has a terrific attitude.

Later that same evening around 10:30 pm, we had to return to the emergency room due to some initially minor pain from the morning incident, which became more intense as the evening progressed. After a few x-rays were taken to rule out any broken bones or fractures, Dr. Jones gave us good news. Dr. Jones and the night nurses were very nice. After our medical work was finished, the emergency room was quiet, and we had a very enjoyable conversation with Dr. Jones on a multitude of topics.

Our visit to your town was very good.

Sincerely,
Jim Lukas
