FMDH Foundation: Charity of Choice
Every year Northwest Farm Credit Services recognizes employees who invest time and energy into making a difference in their community and industry groups. Northwest Farm Credit Services makes a $500 cash contribution to a charitable organization of the recognized employee’s choice. In order to receive this annual Making a Difference award you have to be nominated. This year Laura Barnes was nominated for her time and energy which makes a big difference in our community. Earlier this year Laura was also named Volunteer of the Year by the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce. Needless to say, Laura’s hard work and dedication to the betterment of our community has not gone unnoticed. Laura Barnes has chosen the FMDH Foundation Scholarship Fund to be the recipient of the $500 contribution. In 2013, the Foundation gave out $16,000 in medical scholarships. It is an investment that continues to give back great returns to our community as many of our recipients come back and practice here! If you see Laura, congratulate her on this prestigious award and thank her for thinking of the FMDH Foundation as her charity of choice!
