On September 1, 2009 we rolled out our New Wellness Program, “VITALITY”. It is intended to offer a wide range of activities in a smorgasbord-style approach where all employees enrolled in the program may utilize one or more of the listed activities. All activities are offered on a completely voluntary basis.
The Wellness Committee has worked with in-house and community individuals to develop different options for employees. Some of the activities we have discussed and already begun are: Walking Clubs, Glasgow Recreation Department membership discounts, Yoga Classes, Health Fair Screening, Wellness Library and provide free informational Wellness websites. Some of the activities still in development will be Aerobics, Dance, and weight training classes. Please look forward our monthly/quarterly guest speakers and future developments in our program.
